Biografie
Auf Sybille Witkowskis Weg in das dramatische Sopranfach haben sich strahlende Höhe, ungewöhnlich präzise Geläufigkeit und Dramatik zusammengeschlossen.
Dieser Weg führte sie vom lyrischen Sopran über den jugendlich-dramatischen Sopran und dramatischen Koloratursopran. Begleitet haben sie hierbei Rosemarie Hagemann, Siegfried Jerusalem, Elizabeth Whitehouse, Deborah Polaski sowie andere und nach wie vor Ingrid Haubold.
Bereits im Studium debütierte die Sopranistin am Staatstheater Nürnberg in der Titelpartie der „Csárdásfürstin“. Für die darauf folgenden Spielzeiten wurde sie für das Solistenensemble engagiert und sang unter anderem die Contessa in „Le Nozze de Figaro“, Rosalinde in „Die Fledermaus“ und Lisa in „Das Land des Lächelns“.
Einher gingen Gastauftritte, Einspringer, Liederabende und Konzerte, beispielsweise mit der Staatskapelle Weimar und der Staatsphilharmonie Nürnberg. Es folgten Familienzeit, der gesunde Stimmfachwechsel und Corona-Pandemie (eine Zeit, die sie künstlerisch produktiv nutzte).
Sybille Witkowskis gegenwärtiges Repertoire umfasst unter anderem die Partien Leonore, Senta, die Kaiserin, Turandot, Brünnhilde und Isolde (zu erleben und zu hören in der Konzert- und Liederabendreihe "von Richard zu Richard" mit Szenen, Arien & Liedern von Richard Strauss und Richard Wagner). Nach wie vor schließt es ebenso die Partien Lisa, Rosalinde, Csárdásfürstin und Gräfin Mariza ein.
Derzeit arbeitet Sybille Witkowski tonangebend am Opern-Projekt "Ancient Beauty and Future´s Slit".
2021 erschien das erste Weihnachts-Album der Dramatischen Sopranistin und damit das erste komplette Musikalbum überhaupt, auf dem die Stimme der Oper und der Klang der Drehorgel zusammenkommen: "Operasinger´s Family: The First Christmas Album". Die Veröffentlichung der beiden Weihnachts-EPs "Welcome To The Nutcrackers´s World" und "As The Elder Always Told" folgt in 2024.

On Sybille Witkowski’s way becoming a dramatic soprano brilliant hight, extraordinarily precise fluentness and dramatic sound basis have been united.
This way led her from lyric soprano through soprano lirico spinto and dramatic coloratura soprano to dramatic soprano and she was accompanied on it, for example by Rosemarie Hagemann, Siegfried Jerusalem, Elizabeth Whitehouse, Deborah Polaski and still Ingrid Haubold.
While still a member of the International Opera Studio of Nuremberg State Theatre, the soprano Sybille Witkowski made her debut as the title figure in “Die Csárdásfürstin” (The Gypsy Princess). She belonged to the ensemble of soloists during the seasons that followed and sang, among other roles, the Countess in “Le Nozze de Figaro” (The Marriage of Figaro), Rosalinde in “Die Fledermaus”, the first lady in “Die Zauberflöte” (The Magic Flute) and Lisa in “Das Land des Lächelns” (The Land of Smiles).
In addition she stepped in for other singers, gave guest performances and concerts, for example with the Staatskapelle Weimar und Staatsphilharmonie Nuremberg. This was followed by the time of parental leave, healthy change of her voice type and corona pandemic (a time, which she used productively and fruitfully).
Sybille Witkowski´s current repertoire includes for example Leonore, Senta, The Empress (die Kaiserin), Turandot, Brünnhilde and Isolde - to experience and to hear during the concert series and recitals "from Richard to Richard" including scenes, arias and recitals of Richard Strauss and Richard Wagner. But of course it still includes Lisa, Rosalinde, the Gypsy Princess and Countess Mariza, too.
Her first Christmas album and the world´s first full lenght album, which brings together the voice of the opera and the sound of the barrel-organ "Operasinger´s Family: The First Christmas Album" was released in 2021. It will be followed by the Christmas EPs "Welcome To The Nutcrackers´s World" and "As The Elder Always Told" in 2024.
